Environment
Wow when the glaciers came from New England they melted in the middle colonies and they left dirt and that is how hills and valleys were formed. The three paragraphs I am doing are natural resources, geographical features and how it started http://classroomclipart.com/
Natural Recourses
Some natural resources in the middle colonies are lumber, and barley. Lumber is wood from trees that you use for building things and trading it to other countries. The final natural resource is barley, barley is a plant that you use for food or you can feed animals with the barley. These natural resources impacted with them because with out lumber they would not have fires or they would not trade it to England or Africa. Another one that is important is barley because they trade it with the natives and they can use it for eating and feeding the animals.
Geographical Features
Some geographical features are trees, dirt, water, and sand. All of those things are given to us by our world so we can make what we sleep in and what we hunt with. Geographical features are things that are there when people first arrived in the middle colonies. Two of the most famous geographical features are the Hudson and the Delaware river because they are one of the biggest features in the middle colonies.
How It Started
The middle colonies started by a glacier coming from New England carrying dirt and soil and melting in the middle colonies creating hills and valleys. And then since the soil was so rich that plants and trees started growing. The weather was good for farming and when people from all around the world started to come and that is how middle colonies is one of the best to grow plants and harvest. Another reason people came was for deer and beaver to hunt in the middle colonies.
So that is what I did for the environment for middle colonies I hope you will learn more about the middle colonies envirnment I hope you enjoyed and did you know that they would have to use a riverboat to get around on the Hudson and Delaware rivers.
